Canada Federal Election Day October 21, 2019

The only poll that matters is Election Day Oct, 21, 2019.
The Canadian election campaign has revealed the negative characteristics of some political Parties.  We see that most of the Parties are not truly concerned about the overall good of Canada.  Their objective is power by any means, fair or foul.  Sadly, too many vote with emotion rather than analytical substance.  Few take the time to read the full printed platform document of the Parties.  It seems to be ‘image over substance’.  Moreover, the printed platform document might not help all that much, as they are filled with code words that hint at potential actions different from the surface appearances.
Too often the winning Party rules with its ideology, ignoring the voter in-between elections.  That is not 'participatory democracy'.  Unfortunately, the electorate now appears fractured ideologically and regionally.  There are many ridings too close to call, and some upsets are inevitable.
This is a referendum on Prime Minister Trudeau.  He has survived longer than properly expected, given his mistakes, arrogance, and lies.  On Oct 21 electors will determine which Party will have the opportunity to govern.  If there is no clear winner, the Parties will joust again for paramountcy soon enough.  Minority governments do not have a long shelf-life  -  18 to 24 months perhaps.  We may soon have a re-run.
Democracy is a participatory event.  Every election in Canada is decided by the people who show up to vote.  So, my deep desire is that voters should unreservedly support their local Conservative Candidate, to protect our country, and also consider the next generation.
