Christmas is a time to gather with family and friends, and to look back with thanks, and to look forward with hope. In spite of global troubles, Canada has performed well compared to other countries. We are fortunate.
The Christmas spirit means each one doing their share, and being especially considerate of others. We honour the Christmas story and message.
Christmas in our hearts means that we will keep promoting the things that unite us as Canadians. Let us remember those who are less fortunate. Let us honour our men and women in uniform. Let us give thanks for our great country. I wish you the best for the holiday season, and for the year to come.
